CMS
Why
A collection of plugins to make WordPress feel more like a CMS. It has some small adjustments and some bigger ones. Also includes some other plugins I’ve made like Multiple content blocks, Page manager and a FAQ plugin.
Includes an admin panel to switch all adjustments on or off.
This plugin makes it easier for developers to create website with WordPress and for their clients to manage these websites.

How to use
After installing and activating this plug-in, you see an admin panel under ‘Settings’. In this panel you can adjust all kinds of settings. I will walk through them one by one.
Sitename – the name of the website. This will appear in the title tag. The client should be able to change this, so you can set settings for this area.
Switched on components – What component do you want to show your client in the menu? You are able to switch Posts/Comments and the FAQ plugin on or off.
Custom admin-panel logo – You are able to add a custom logo to WordPress, so your clients will see your or their own logo’s in the backend. Also makes the text next to the logo target “_blank”, so it will open in a new window.
Wordpress fixes/add-ons
Allow users … : Use the Page manager plugin.
Be able to add … : Use the Multiple content blocks plugin.
TinyMCE adjustments
Make small adjustments … : Remove some stuff in the tinyMCE editor, like the ‘address’ paragraph. This also makes the upload/insert media icons clearer what they do.
Use your templates stylesheet … : When you allow TinyMCE Advanced to show the CSS from the theme, always align text left.
Dashboard options
HTML page with … : You can add a couple of links to the clients dashboard. Fill in the link to a HTML page here that’s formatted as a list:
<ul>
<li><a href=”#”>Useful link</a></li>
<li><a href=”#”>Useful link2</a></li>
</ul>
This HTML page should be on your server, so when you edit it, all your clients will see the updated html file with useful links.
Link to the feed … : A link to an RSS feed you want to show your clients. It shows the last 3 RSS feed items.
Clear the messy dashboard: Removes all WordPress widgets, so your client will be directed where you want them to (with the two options above). Tip: Google Analyticator on the dashboard
Extra options
Rename and adjust … : Installed plugins will be placed under Pages etc with names like “Forms” or “Global content”, that way it’s easier for your clients to know what it means. Supported plugins: cForms, FAQ You, Reusables, NextGEN Gallery
Remove the update reminder .. : Removes the update reminder for your clients, so they won’t think it’s an error or something.
Minimum user level … general : The minimum level the user has to be to watch and edit General options in this admin panel.
Minimum user level … admin options: The minimum level the user has to be to watch and edit Admin options in this admin panel.
